I have been 4 weeks with Mamo Lorenzo Izquierdo in Sasaima and the Sierra Nevada doing retreat, fasting and learning how to make offerings to mother earth and how to purify my ancestral lineage.
The most important time that shape our life is the time of the conception, the time in the womb of the mother and the birth itself. Everything that happens during these time has a major effect on the path of our life, but there are techniques to purify these first moments of our life.
Some weeks later I could attend to a Kiwa of raices de la tierra Colombia in San Agustin visited by elder and spiritual authorities from Colombia, Mexico, Brazil and many other countries.
It has been incredible to see the power of a spiritual elder such as Berrito, who is fighting against multinational oil industries to preserve the health of his mother, as he says, mother nature.
I am just thankful for this experience for his work and his lovely family.
